Since its launch in 1946, the Manchester Guitar Circle has centred its activities on monthly gatherings of members and friends.
For many years, these have taken place on the first Thursday of every month, starting at 8.00pm.
Our current venue is the United Services Club, 30 Southern Road, Sale M33 6HQ.
You’ll find us in the small front bar, through the double doors on the right near the main entrance.
Non-members often attend as visitors for an admission fee of £2.00 payable on the door.
Members and visitors can call in at any time from 8.00pm onwards.
The programme is something we make up as we go along, with everyone welcome to a spot.
However, if you’d rather just drop in for a chat and a listen, that’s fine with us.
Although the classical guitar remains our core activity, all styles of acoustic guitar and other fretted instruments are included in the mix.
